Welcome to Arc Trader Reputation ("we," "our," "us," or the "Site"). By accessing or using arcrep.io, you ("you," "your," or "user") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site.
Important: Arc Trader Reputation is an unofficial, community-run resource. We are NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Embark Studios or Arc Raiders in any way.
2. Description of Service
Arc Trader Reputation is a community-driven platform that:
- Collects and displays community reports about trading experiences in Arc Raiders
- Allows users to search for EmbarkIDs to see if they have been reported
- Provides a system for users to submit reports about problematic traders
- Offers a dispute process for those who believe they were reported incorrectly
What We Are NOT
- We are NOT an official Embark Studios service
- We do NOT verify player identities
- We do NOT guarantee the accuracy of any report
- We do NOT take action against players in-game
- We are NOT a substitute for official support channels
3. Community Data Disclaimer
Nature of Information
All information on this Site is community-submitted and unverified. Being listed on this Site:
- Does NOT prove someone committed any wrongdoing
- Does NOT constitute evidence of wrongdoing
- Reflects community reports, which may be inaccurate, incomplete, or false
Not Being Listed
NOT being listed on this Site:
- Does NOT prove someone is trustworthy
- Does NOT guarantee safe trading
- Should NOT be your only consideration when making trading decisions
Use at Your Own Risk
All trading decisions are made at your own risk. This Site is provided as informational data only. We strongly recommend:
- Using best practices when available
- Verifying trader identity through multiple sources
- Never trading items without proof of ownership
- Using common sense and caution in all trades
4. User Responsibilities
When Submitting Reports
By submitting a report, you agree that:
- You have personal knowledge of the trading incident
- You are providing accurate and truthful information
- You have evidence to support your claim
- You are not submitting the report maliciously or to harass another player
- You understand false reports may result in your access to the Site being terminated
When Using the Site
You agree to:
- Use the Site only for its intended purpose (checking trader reputations)
- Not abuse, harass, or defame other users
- Not submit false, misleading, or spam reports
- Not attempt to manipulate or game the system
- Not use automated tools or bots to submit reports
- Not hold us liable for your trading decisions
Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use this Site to:
- Defame, harass, or target specific individuals
- Submit false reports for competitive advantage
- Coordinate harassment campaigns
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with the Site's operation or security
- Copy, scrape, or republish Site content without permission
5. Reporting Requirements
Submitting a Report
To submit a valid report, you must:
- Provide the reported trader's EmbarkID
- Upload evidence (screenshots, chat logs, etc.)
- Complete CAPTCHA verification
- Agree to these Terms
Evidence Requirements
Evidence should show:
- Clear EmbarkIDs of traders
- The trading agreement or arrangement
- What went wrong (non-delivery, item mismatch, etc.)
Review Process
- We manually review every submission before publishing
- We may reject reports without sufficient evidence
- We may reject duplicate or spam reports
- Review typically takes 1-7 days
- We do not guarantee that valid reports will be published
False Reports
Submitting false reports is a serious violation. Consequences include:
- Immediate removal of your reports
- Permanent ban from submitting future reports
- Potential legal action if you cause harm
- You may be held liable for defamation or other claims
6. Dispute Resolution
If You've Been Reported
If your EmbarkID appears on the Site and you believe it is incorrect:
- Submit a dispute through our "Submit a dispute" form (linked in the Site footer)
- Provide your EmbarkID and counter-evidence
- Explain why the report is false or inaccurate
- We will review your dispute within 14 days
- We will notify you of our decision
Dispute Review Process
- We review the original evidence and your counter-evidence
- We make decisions based on available information
- Our decisions are final and at our sole discretion
- We may remove reports, mark them as disputed, or take no action
- We are not obligated to explain our reasoning
Limitations
- We cannot mediate disputes between traders
- We cannot force in-game restitution
- We cannot contact Embark Studios on your behalf
- Disputes do not guarantee report removal
7. Intellectual Property
Your Content
By submitting reports or evidence:
- You retain ownership of your content
- You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and store your content for operating the Site
- You confirm you have the right to submit the content
- You understand evidence files may be deleted after 30 days
Our Content
The Site design, code, database structure, and compilation of reports are our property and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy or reproduce the Site without permission
- Create derivative works based on the Site
- Use the Site's data for commercial purposes without authorization
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
AS-IS Service
The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security of data transmission
No Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Trading Losses: Any items, currency, or value lost in trades
- False Reports: Damage caused by inaccurate community reports
- Missed Reports: Traders not being listed who should have been
- Service Interruptions: Downtime, data loss, or technical issues
- Third-Party Actions: Actions taken by Embark Studios, other players, or third parties
- Indirect Damages: Lost profits, lost data, or consequential damages
Limitation of Damages
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid to use the site (which is $0), whichever is greater.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arc Trader Reputation, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Site
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- False or malicious reports you submit
- Any trading decisions you make based on Site information
9. Privacy and Data
Privacy Policy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.
Public Information
By submitting a report, you understand that:
- Reported EmbarkIDs will be displayed publicly
- Report counts will be visible to all users
Data Retention
- Verified reports may be stored indefinitely
- Evidence files are deleted within 30 days of verification

10. Modifications to Service and Terms
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted to the Site with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Changes to Service
We may:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site at any time
- Change features, functionality, or eligibility requirements
- Remove or modify reports at our discretion
- Implement new rules or requirements
We are not liable for any modifications, suspensions, or discontinuation of the Site.
11. Account Termination and Bans

- Remove or refuse to publish any report
- Ban users who violate these Terms
- Terminate access without notice

Reasons for termination include but are not limited to:
- Submitting false reports
- Abusing the report or dispute systems
- Harassing other users
- Violating applicable laws
- Any conduct we deem inappropriate
12. Third-Party Services
The Site uses third-party services including:
- Tally: Form processing
- Airtable: Database storage
- Cloudflare Pages: Hosting
These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices or any issues arising from their services.
13. Geographic Restrictions and Governing Law
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Jurisdiction
You agree that any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the courts located in the United States.
International Use
If you access the Site from outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with local laws. We make no representation that the Site is appropriate or available for use in other locations.
14. Dispute Resolution Between Users
Not a Mediator
We are not a mediator or arbitrator between traders. If you have a dispute with another player:
- Resolve it through official game support channels
- Do not use our Site to harass or defame them
- Submit factual reports with evidence, not emotional accusations

For issues with trades or player behavior, contact Embark Studios through their official support channels. We cannot help with in-game issues.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Arc Trader Reputation regarding the use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements.
17. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
